About Me
Professional Journey
My path to interpreting began with a deep curiosity about languages and cultures. After completing my degree in Conference Interpreting, I built my practice working across diverse sectors, from tech startups to luxury fashion houses.
What sets my work apart is the combination of linguistic precision with genuine subject-matter expertise. I don't just interpret words; I understand the context, the nuances, and the stakes involved in each communication.

A Note
On Confidentiality
Much of my work takes place behind closed doors: private negotiations, sensitive business discussions, and confidential meetings where discretion is essential. The nature of interpreting means I'm often present for conversations my clients would rather keep private. I take this trust seriously, which is why you won't find a long list of client names here.

What clients say
"Stefania was outstanding with her swift service translating my estratto dell'atto following my marriage in Italy. I required my marriage certificate to be translated to English for a UK passport change of name. Within 2 hours I had a response with the service she could provide and within 48 hours I had the necessary translation document in my emails. Thank you Stefania!"
"Stefania was recommended to us by one of her previous clients - and what a great recommendation! We were looking for a professional native speaker to check a manuscript for a new vocabulary resource we published for IB Diploma learners. Stefania did a wonderful job, tightly following our brief and providing her carefully-considered corrections clearly so that they were easy for the editor to implement. Her work was always submitted promptly and she kept in regular touch. Thank you, Stefania - we wouldn't hesitate to work with you again!"
"I worked with Stefania on an Italian vocabulary revision book for an educational publisher: she read the MSS and checked proofs. She responded quickly to various queries about the language, advising in a way that was always clear and helpful. She did a good thorough job and was a pleasure to work with, and I'd certainly recommend her for proofreading and/or Italian language checking."
